The recruitment process

Step 1: Whether you already have a clear vision for your role within our company or are still exploring possibilities, send us your resume and cover letter. Our team of experienced recruiters is here to match your potential with the right opportunities.
Step 2: One of our analyst recruiters will arrange an introductory call to get acquainted. No preparation is necessary—this recruiter will walk you through the entire recruitment journey, ensuring a smooth and guided process.
Step 3: Complete our online assessment, which consists of brief tests designed to evaluate skills such as communication, time management, problem-solving, numerical reasoning, and written proficiency. You can complete this assessment at your own pace, but it must be done in a single sitting.
Step 4: Participate in a 30-minute business interview via Microsoft Teams with a representative from the area that interests you most. This conversation will focus on your skills, motivation, and reasons for wanting to join Delaware.
Step 5: Attend our in-person assessment day, where you'll engage in a variety of activities, including an interview, presentation, and group task. You'll have the chance to meet with different members of the Delaware team, enabling us to identify the area where you fit best within our analyst programme.
Step 6: Enter the offer stage, where our analyst recruiter will guide you through the details of your placement within the analyst programme and help ensure a seamless transition into your new role.

Please see below the answers to some of our FAQs about the DUK Analyst Programme:

Typically, we have two analyst intakes per year. The first starts in March and the next in September. This is subject to change so be sure to check our website when you are ready to apply.
Our analyst programme generally lasts 3 years, but in some cases our analysts have been fast-tracked due to exceptional performance.
Our UK offices are based in Bristol, it is essential for our analysts to relocate to the Bristol area so they can work and learn together from our Hub.
When you start, you will attend our Delaware Academy, which is based at our offices in Bristol. This is a 5-week comprehensive onboarding experience, which includes classroom-based training and live demos.

After completing your time at the Academy, you will then be given the opportunity to shadow on selected projects, which provides you with a great insight into how our departments operate. You will also be assigned to a mentor, who will act as your first point of contact for general guidance and career advice.

Throughout the graduate programme, you will have access to Foundation+, which is a varied programme of consulting skills training and development, designed to help you build key skills.
Our offer is for a permanent role. Once you complete the analyst programme, you will move into a Consultant role.
We always encourage you to try the role you are initially given as we match it against your interests and skillset. If, however, you would like to explore a different role, this is something we would discuss with you.
Our graduate programme has a 4-stage application process:

Stage 1 - Recruiter screening
Stage 2 – Online assessment
Stage 3 – Business interview
Stage 4 – In person assessment day

The length of the process will depend on the timing of your graduate application and potential start date with us. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
Yes. We offer analyst positions within functional, digital, change, delivery, and technical data and analytics. Analysts are welcome to apply for more than one of these positions.
We encourage you to bring your best, authentic self forward. A good exercise to do in preparation of your assessment centre is to write a list of all your experiences, including any work related or voluntary experience. For each experience, write down the skills you developed. It is also important to carry out some solid research about Delaware as a company.
Presentation preparation is very important, make sure you have practised and have checked over all your slides for mistakes.
We always try to align you with an interviewer that matches your interest and skillset. Our assessment centres are run by a mixture of different people in the business, ranging from people who have come through or are on the graduate scheme to managers who have a wealth of experience.
While we strive to provide feedback whenever possible, there may be instances where we are unable to do so. However, feedback is an integral part of our culture and is crucial for self-development, and we are committed to offering it whenever we can.
Yes, we will cover reasonable travel expenses required for the assessment day.

If you have a health condition which may impact your work, then we encourage you to speak to our HR team to make them aware so that any adjustments can be made.
We welcome applications from international students or candidates who require a work permit. You’ll need to have the right to work in the UK, so if this is currently a student visa, you may need to apply for the Graduate visa to enable you to work once you have finished studying.
