As a D365 Finance Presales Architect at delaware, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and winning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance opportunities across both Finance and Operations and Business Central.

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients during the earliest stages of their ERP decision making, helping them understand how Dynamics 365 can support their strategic, financial, and operational goals. Working closely with sales and delivery teams, you will own solution direction during presales, from initial discovery through proposal, solution definition, and handover.

This is a senior, client facing role suited to someone who enjoys combining business insight with deep Dynamics expertise to influence outcomes and build lasting client relationships.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead presales engagements for Dynamics 365 Finance solutions, acting as the primary solution authority during early client conversations.
  • Shape and position high level solution architectures across Finance and Operations and Business Central, aligned to client objectives and constraints.
  • Plan and run discovery sessions and workshops to uncover business requirements, challenges, and success criteria.
  • Advise clients on platform selection, clearly articulating the strengths, tradeoffs, and appropriate use cases for Finance and Operations versus Business Central.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support proposals, estimates, solution presentations, and bid responses.
  • Translate business needs into clear solution options that balance functionality, scalability, implementation approach, and long term value.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure a smooth and effective transition from presales into project delivery.

  • Proven presales experience within ERP or Dynamics 365 environments, ideally within a consulting context.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape solutions, lead high level design, and provide confident client advisory support.
  • Exposure to Business Central is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable translating complex business requirements into clear, value driven solution narratives.
