SAP Field Logistics

SAP Field Logistics manages the movement of products required for maintenance operations between a supplying base and a remote location. 

Many Energy Businesses have relied on SAP's RLM (Remote Logistics Management) solution for over 20 years and have had to develop custom solutions to bridge gaps affecting common supply scenarios. 

The good news is that SAP have responded to industry needs through the development of their Field Logistics solution, which encompasses the capabilities missing from the RLM solution. 

SAP are expecting customers to transition to the replacement Field Logistics solution by 2025, as SAP will no longer support RLM from December 2025 onwards. 

Transition from RLM to FL will need to be carefully planned and executed, which is where Delaware come in to help.
