What will you be doing?

  • Strategic Lead Generation: Your primary role involves generating and identifying new opportunities within the mid to large enterprise market. This will be achieved via using your initiative and tenacity to find opportunities and follow them up using phone calls, emails and social media. 
  • Lead Qualification: Take charge of identifying, nurturing and qualifying new business leads which can be pass to the sales team. 
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate seamlessly between Delaware Marketing and Sales Teams. Progress leads through the business development pipeline into the sale pipeline. 
  • Event and Campaign Support: Support marketing efforts by actively participating in the events both online and in person and following up on campaign leads and opportunities. 
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential clients, looking for avenues to add value, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business development initiatives. 
  • Day-to-day essentials: Stay on top of administrative tasks - such as updating contact, companies, notes, reporting, etc. in CRM system (HubSpot). Confident communicating both with external customers and internally in the business. 

Is there a match?

  • Experience in selling ERP or similar technology (e.g. SAP, Microsoft, salesforce etc.) or similar solutions and services would be an advantage. 
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with senior-level IT/Business executives in mid/large-sized companies. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling messages, overcome objections, and initiate meaningful conversations to generate interest. 
  • Ability to work from anywhere in the UK, with fairly infrequent travel to support opportunities
