Delaware is seeking a client-focused Large Enterprise Project Manager / Program Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex SAP or D365 implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

As a Large Enterprise Project Manager / Program Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, executing, and delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You will be expected to anticipate a client's needs, adjust your style to match the client, and deal with challenging and complex commercial constructs within an account.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing complex implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery
  • Leading large, distributed, cross-functional teams to ensure vision is cast, goals are set and collaborative environments exist amongst the teams
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with our clients up to the highest levels in their organisation
  • Using your experience, advise the customer strategically on their business objectives and make sure the SAP or D365 roadmap continues to be the best option when considering key constraints such as cost, aging legacy systems, IT, business benefits, synergy of business units and value chains
  • Project and Programme Planning at all levels from Level 0 - 4
  • Manage resources, risks, and issues and  provide innovative mitigations and resolutions that move the project along and remove blockers
  • Establish a strong governance structure that removes unnecessary bureaucracy but retains control
  • Negotiate Programme commercials and contracts, striking a balance between delaware’s and the client’s best interests
  • Manage escalation within the account, knowing when to highlight issues to your delaware seniors
  • Maintain a strong grasp of all programme financials – Current, historical and forecasted revenue, cost and margin

Is there a match?

  • Preferably 10+ years of experience in SAP or D365 project management, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large project teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships at a senior level
  • Ability to be empathetic towards customers
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent ability to anticipate a client's needs, adjust your style to match the client, and deal with challenging and complex commercial constructs within an account
  • Strong commercial and consulting skills, with experience in pre-sales 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to create forecasts and cost-to-complete models
  • Excellent presentation and power point skills 
  • The ability to take complex issues and break them down into simple steps that help bring clarity to any problem
