As an Analytics Lead you’ll be responsible for leading teams to deliver analytics solutions. You’ll have experience providing advice and guidance on the right analytics solutions and will be able to design and deliver analytics solutions that meet our client’s requirements.

What will you be doing?

  • Skilfully capturing client requirements and utilising data modelling techniques to create a robust and efficient intelligence solution architecture.
  • Translating business needs into well-defined technical requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
  • Implementing data solutions according to industry best practices, focusing on effective data management and transformation processes.
  • Designing and developing advanced business intelligence and analytics solutions using Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory, leveraging their capabilities to drive actionable insights.
  • Leveraging data discovery tools like Power BI and Azure Synapse to design and develop visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Developing data warehouses and data marts following the Kimball methodology, ensuring data integrity and optimised query performance.
  • Utilising the "Export to DataLake" feature and “Azure Synapse link” to extract data from Microsoft 365 Dynamics F&SCM and Dynamics CRM, enabling seamless integration with analytics solutions

Is there a match?

  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles, ideally working for a consultancy or system integrator.
  • Proficient in delivering engaging presentations, both written and oral, and adept at conveying complex data concepts to a business-oriented audience.
  • Skilled in conducting workshops and facilitating formal data governance meetings.
  • Demonstrated industry expertise in implementing Microsoft Azure/SQL and Data Analytics solutions, with comprehensive knowledge of related areas such as Synapse, Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Power BI.
  • Experience working with other analytics solutions such as Databricks, Snowflake, SAP Analytics solutions, is not mandatory but will enhance your application.
  • Proficiency in working with Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient project management.
  • Strong strategic and operational decision-making abilities, enabling effective planning and execution of projects.
  • Enthusiastic about exploring and sharing new technologies, with a proactive attitude towards researching and adopting innovative tools and methodologies.
  • Skilled in guiding, directing, and influencing individuals or teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Proficient in creating and utilising data models and data definitions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data management processes.
