Data Governance Consultant

As Data Governance Consultant you will work closely together with stakeholders across the organization to:

• identify the needs and requirements of our customers regarding data governance;
• help our customers establish:
  •  data ownership and accountability throughout the organization;
  • data management processes;
  • data governance policies, standards & procedures; 
  • conduct data quality assessments and audits and develop corrective action plans;
• propose the MDM tooling which fits the customer requirements;
• support the implementation of MDM tools like SAP MDG, Precisely Automate trough: 
  • organizing and leading design and fit gap workshop;  
  • setting up or customizing the system;  
  • writing functional and or technical design documents; 
  • test and our train the solution;

We are the SAP Data Management team: we offer solutions regarding data migration, data governance & data management processes to our customers. Ranging from greenfield SAP S4 implementations to supporting organizations maturing their internal processes, tools and data organization. 

At delaware, we believe in looking at business processes from a data point of view. Rather than taking a deep dive into tools and systems, our goal is to help our customers improve the way their data is managed.  

Did you know: delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège and Wavre, but we also spend a lot of time working together with our customers  on-site.   

Let’s see. If you… 

• have +5 years experience in data governance, data management or a related field;  
• have experience with SAP (as end user, key user or other role) 
• have a strong understanding of data governance practices or willing to grow in this domain and standards;  
• combine strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset;  
• have good communication skills in Dutch / French and English;  
• are a team player who can demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit to our customers;  

Knowledge, experience and/or certifications in one or more of the following domains is a plus: 

• setup data governance organization 
• data governance tools like SAP MDG, Preicisely Automate, dScribe, Collibra  
• regulatory requirements related to data management (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA,…); 
• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
