As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for developing the enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives and best practices. You will guide internal teams in designing enterprise-class modern data platforms using Microsoft technologies, including D365, Azure, Fabric, and Databricks, as well as AI, Copilot, and ML.

Your role will involve designing storage solutions optimized for performance, security, and cost, leveraging Azure Data Lake, SQL databases, and Synapse. You will oversee ETL/ELT processes and teams to ensure data quality and integrity across disparate sources like ERPs, CRMs, and IoT systems. Acting as the technical liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, you will translate business requirements into architectural solutions.

Additionally, you will provide mentorship to consultants and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing the enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
  • Guiding internal teams in designing enterprise class modern data platforms leveraging Microsoft technologies, including D365, Azure, Fabric, and Databricks as well as AI, Copilot and ML.
  • Designing storage solutions optimized for performance, security, and cost, leveraging Azure Data Lake, SQL databases, and Synapse.
  • Overseeing ETL/ELT processes and teams to ensure data quality and integrity across disparate sources like ERPs, CRMs, and IoT systems.
  • Acting as the technical liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, translating business requirements into architectural solutions.
  • Providing mentorship to consultants and analysts by fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Is there a match?

  • A minimum of 8 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Mastery of SQL and Python, with experience in cloud-native data solutions on Azure.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure ML.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Power BI, DAX, Fabric Notebooks, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of the Kimball methodology and dimensional modelling.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, including Copilot and advanced machine learning frameworks.Proven success in designing and deploying large-scale data platforms.
  • Experience working with diverse datasets, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert/ Azure Data Engineer / Azure AI Engineer (preferred).
